The carry handle / stand module is a beautifully engineered solution to the problem of transporting and then deploying a monitor in the field. Originally designed to allow 18.1 and 20.1” displays to be carried onto nuclear submarines by specialist engineers and scientists for maintenance and setup of sophisticated computer command and control and sonar systems and software, it has been evolved into a uniquely elegant design, which allows a monitor to be carried and then set up on any suitable available surface.
These have been used in many applications including covert military surveillance systems where a high quality video monitor was required to be set up in the field by Special Forces operatives.
